Why Church

READING
Acts 2
Romans 12
1 Corinthians 11
1 Corinthians 14
Ephesians 5
Revelation 2, 3

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

Read through each chapter.
Ask God to show you what you need to see.
Discuss anything that seems interesting and see where it takes you.
As you read each new chapter, look for common themes, and also discuss how it relates to the others.

And finally ask yourself, “So what?”
Was this just some interesting information? Or is it life changing?
What are you going to do differently from now on?
What choices are you going to need to change?
How is this study going to influence your lifestyle?

What’s the purpose of church?
How should we be doing it?
What’s your role look like?

How important is unity?
How important is truth (right doctrine)?
How close have we gone to getting it right?

Look at each activity of your church.
How important is that activity in the light of the purpose for the church’s existence?
Should you stop?
Is there anything you should start?

So what?
